I do not give lift to the politician types, however this meeting with Kamal Hasan was more like two fellow actors meeting after a long time. He did not waste any time in preliminaries and told me straight away that he felt that the vast potential of my histrionic capabilities had not been tapped by the film industry. He then went on to the tell me about his forthcoming film project for which he was looking for a suitable actor to play the role of pretty heroine's father
and felt that I would fit into the role perfectly.
I too did not waste any time in pleasantries and while thanking him for the offer, made it clear that I considered myself as being too young to play the role of heroine's father.
We parted as friends, as before.
(This fake & imaginary meeting took place last week at the stall of a photographer at Marina beach in Chennai, who specializes in taking photos with cut-outs....).
