'A dog's life' by K.J.S.Chatrath

My domestic help left a few weeks back and I looked for a tiffin/dabba service for meals in Panchkula. It was not easy. Though there were a number of options available for residents of Chandigarh and Mohali, I could not find any for Panchkula. I tried the internet, word of mouth and consulted the local newspapers. And ultimately found one supplier. There was no choice even though it was before the issue of net neutrality had emerged.

Consider my reaction when around the same time, while going through some not so recent newspapers, I found an article* about meals for dogs. It explained how moved by the death of a pet due to consumption of corns, Mr. Manish Maheshwari, a civil engineer by profession, started lunch box delivery for dogs in the city (Chandigarh). The pet owners are given options in terms of vegetarian (silver), non-vegetarian (gold) and super nutritious (platinum) meals.

They are next planning to extend the lunch box service to Panchkula.

Did anyone say 'a dog's life'? You guessed it right-I am not a dog lover.
