Government of Punjab is the latest one to introduce 'Mukh Mantri Teerath Darshan Yatra'. Though I am not sure but one does understand that such schemes are already in vogue in some other states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat & Rajasthan. One also understands that Government of India too subsidises the Haj piligrims.
I envy those who have faith whereas I, born a Sikh but now an atheist by choice, have nobody to fall back upon and pray to in case of need.
But the issue here is shouldn't there be some similar schemes for atheists too? Otherwise it may look as if the State is discriminating on the basis of religion... ...
