Chandigarh's Open Hand- copied by Le Corbusier from the common Fatima's Hand symbol in the Middle East without acknowledging!
I was reading an old article in the Times of India today: "Let 'Charbagh' crown Capitol's unfinished symphony" - by Rajnish Wattas
And this is, inter-alia, what Mr. Wattas writes, "Le Corbusier had conceived the Capitol a cosmic landscape than an architectural composition- a tribute to Shivaliks".
My take: Ha-Ha & Ha..
It reminds me of an old English limerick:
Learned commentators view,
In Shakespeare, more than Shakespeare knew!
