'Mr. Rahul Gandhi's interaction with students- the other viewpoint'- KJS Chatrath

"Was #RahulStumped in Bangalore? A college student in the audience insists he wasn't" & that is the impression that I too got. No, I was not in the audience but I did see Mr. Rahul Gandhi's interaction with the Bengaluru students on Tv. I generally agree with the views expressed by one of the students in the following article: http://scroll.in/article/771918/was-rahulstumped-in-bangalore-a-college-student-in-the-audience-insists-he-wasnt

Well, this other viewpoint is also expressed by The Tribune in its main editorial "Students question Rahul: A healthy dialogue in days of intolerance" http://www.tribuneindia.com/news/editorials/students-question-rahul/163277.html

Happy birthday 'Alice in Wonderland'- by K.J.S.Chatrath

We are all so tied up in our affairs that sometimes we tend to forget some interesting dates. It has been 150 years since the publication of "Alice's Adventurers in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. This is one birthday party everyone would love to join and not to interrupt. Yes, I adore  every word of this book and to mark the day I have started re-reading it.

Just to remember some immortal quotes from the book:

"Off with their heads!"

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”

"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

"It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then."

"We're all mad here."

"Curiouser and curiouser!"

"I don't think -- " "Then you shouldn't talk."

"It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"

"It would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig."

"And what is the use of a book,' thought Alice, 'without pictures or conversation?”

 Happy birthday 'Alice in Wonderland'
