I boarded the Chandigarh bound Shatabadi Express at New Delhi railway station yesterday morning. I entered the designated compartment, put my small suitcase on the rack and backpack on the floor.
I was having a severe bad cold, so I went to the toilet to blow off my nose. When I came back just 30 seconds later, my small suitcase was missing.
What hurt me most was that I had put the memory cards of the photos taken during the last week in Bhopal/Sanchi/Vidisha etc. in the suitcase.
Moral of the story: It is better to blow off your nose in your hanky while travelling by train!
