Please do not get me wrong by seeing the above photo. No, I do not like pets-cats, dogs & the like.
But this does not stop me from appreciating creativity wherever I see it- like this photo which I took outside a shop in Antigua, Guatemala in 2018.

 An Indian arriving in USA and not knowing very good English, wanted his house to be constructed with three Indian style toilets.

And look what the American contractor made for him!

'Oh God, Help this dog' - by K J S Chatrath

I came out of the Archeological Museum Hampi located in Kamlapura a few days back. I started moving towards the auto which was patiently waiting for me. And then I saw this dog. Part of a plastic pitcher seemed to have got stuck around his neck. I am not a dog person. In fact far from it, I hate dogs and am terribly afraid of them. But I stopped and thought how to help it. There was no one else in sight.

I gathered courage and slowly moved towards the dog with the intention of gently freeing it from the plastic yoke. The dog got up and then as I took another step, it ran away and quickly disappeared from my sight.

I am an atheist and do not believe in God. But I have been silently praying to him to help this dog.
