पुत्र : ओ बल्ले बल्ले जी। ..देश कितनी तरक्की कर रहा है !

पिताश्री : अब क्या हुआ ?

पुत्र : अब ३५० रूपए का नोट शुरू होगा। 

पिताश्री : तो ?

पुत्र : तो ? तो अब कल १७५ रुपए का नोट शुरू होगा. परसों ६६ रुपए का का और.... 

पिताश्री: चुप!

पुत्र : कंही रिज़र्व बैंक का यह सोचना  तो नहीं की इतनी डेनोमिनाशंस के नोट शुरू कर दें की जनता इन में  उलझी रहे और समझे की नोटों की बरसात हो रही है और देश बहुत अमीर हो  रहा है और बहुत तरक्की कर रहा है.....

पिताश्री: जा, जा कर स्कूल का होमवर्क करो....

पुत्र: पिताश्री आप को पता भी है की देश कितनी तरक्की कर रहा है?

पिता : वह क्या है तुम्हारे हाथ में ?

पुत्र : यह २०० रुपए का नया नोट है. आगे १००० रुपए के नोट की जगह पर २००० का नोट आया था  और अब १०० रुपए की जगह पर २०० रुपए का नोट आया है. देश वास्तव में कितनी तरक्की कर रहा है!

पिता: चुप कर और जा कर अपना स्कूल का होमवर्क करो.... पता नहीं क्यों, इस नोट का रंग देख कर मुझे एक खास पोलिटिकल Parrrty   का ख्याल क्यों  आ रहा है....

पुत्र: में बताऊँ पिताश्री कौन सी parrrty ?

पिता: बिलकुल चुप हो जा!

When I first received an email from the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Office, I was foxed. Then came the email from Hon'ble Minister Railways. I was worried. Why me, I asked myself?

Today I have received another email- this time from Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minsiter of Petroleum & Natural Gas wishing me on the occassion of the Republic Day.

No, I am no longer foxed or worried. In fact I am happy and getting used to the fact that my talent is being recognised.....

'Message from the Hon'ble Minister Railways' - K.J.S.Chatrath

Today I have received an email message from the Hon'ble Minister Railways, and I quote verbatim:

 “Do not hang off the doors while travelling in the train” ….. "ज़िन्दगी  मौत ना बन जाये, सम्भालो  यारो" .

Why does the Hon’ble Minister think that I, at 74+ years, would hang off the doors while travelling in train?

I do not know how to react. I am totally foxed, to say the least.

'Spectacular show by lady officers uof the BSF on Rajpath'

The lady officers fof the BSF put up a spectacular show on their motor cycles on the Rajpath on 26 January. The sheer precision was amazing.

However there are two issues which make me uneasy (I) Did this show on bikes not take away from the solemnity of the occasion as it appear to be a show of acrobatics, and (ii) Did such multiple driving on bikes on a public road not contravene the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act & Rules?
