'Pappa, Pappu & Jeanneret' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

Quelle originalité!

Pappa: ( Reading the newspaper aloud) 'Pierre Jeanneret's house opens to the public today.'

Pappu: Who was Pierre Jeanneret, Pappa.

Pappa: He was a relative of Le Corbusier.

Pappu: And who was Le Corbusier, Pappa?

Pappa: Go and finish your homework.

'A shrieking headline on the front page of Times of India about one Karan Johar' by K.J.S.Chatrath

There is a shrieking headline on the front page of Times of India about one Karan Johar. It reads, "Karan Johar is dad to twins, via a surrogate".

Who is Karan Johar?

And who the hell cares!

Come on you the old lady of Bori Bunder, grow up and improve your selection of news.

'Genuinely Fake-2' by K.J.S.Chatrath

No trip to Tamil Nadu is complete without paying my respects to Rajni Sir!

And yes, he offered me a part as heroine's daddy in his next film. I politely refused saying that I am too young to look like heroine's father! Right, no?

Pssst...It is a genuine 'fake'. There are a few photographers on Chennai's Marina Beach who sport a number of cut-outs of film stars, politicians and sports personalities. For a very small charge one can get oneself photographed with the cut-out of one's choice.

'Genuinely Fake' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

I go to South India every year in January. The reasons are many- to escape from the chilly winds of Panchkula, to enjoy the great South Indian food and just to roam around on the Marina beach of Chennai.

I have found out a photographer on the Marina beach who has cut-outs of famous personalities and one can get oneself photographed with the politician or the actor of one's choice. I have got myself photographed with the cut-outs of Respected Amma (may her soul rest in peace!), of the Super Star Rajni Sir and a few others. I call these myy 'Fooling Around' series.

Last time I went there about two years back, I chose the cut-out of Deepika Padukone and the photographer did a jolly good job.

Genuinely fake, no?

P.S.... I am going to Chennai later this week so be prepared for another genuine fake shortly...
