'Air India Chief, Jai Hind & discovery of 3 rats in Dreamliner' by K.J.S.Chatrath

Air India Pilots Should Greet Passengers With 'Jai Hind', Says Chief - news

Great...Absolutely....मेरा भारत महान ....I love my India.

But what about those 3 rats that appeared in Air India's prestigious Dreamliner in three weeks? Sir, you should have taken responsibility and resigned.

  Disclaimer: It is not clear if it was the same rat that made an appearance on three different occasions or three different rats.

'Pearls of wisdom or simply worn out and well flogged cliches from 1/2 Nobel Prize Winner Mr. Kailash Satyarthi' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

Mr. Kailash Satyarthi

 No I have not forgotten Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, the ½ Nobel Prize winner.

I have just read his article 'Save the children: PM Modi should launch child-centric drought relief measures with immediate effect’. (http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/toi-edit-page/save-the-children-pm-modi-should-launch-child-centric-drought-relief-measures-with-immediate-effect/)

 He is so honestly innocent. He believes that every word he utters or writes is a pearl of wisdom. Take a look at some of his remarks in the article cited above:

‘...Better health contributes not only to improved childhood but also the social well-being of the child in the future and the nation. Children play a crucial role in the development of any country’s human capital...   ...’

‘...It is essential that our parliamentarians come together for a day of discussions, focussed exclusively on the need to protect and prioritise our children. It is not too much to ask...)

‘...We cannot afford to neglect our children. They cannot be the future we want, if they do not survive the present....’

 Pearls of wisdom or simply worn out and well flogged cliches!

I can almost hear him say...'Believe me guys, these old, used ones are good enough for you.....'

No, thank you, Sir!

'You need a new PR strategy Mr. Cook' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

First it was the Facebook Chief Mark Zuckerberg who came to India to convince us how free was the free basics and how basic were the free basics for India’s development. We said a polite but firm ‘No thank you’.

Now comes the Apple CEO Mr. Tim Cook. The build up this time is a little different:
(i)                 He first goes and pays his obeisance at a temple in Mumbai;
(ii)               Where he has a ‘chance meeting’ with son of one of the top business honchos of India;
(iii)             Now he says that he has got hooked up to the IPL, and
(iv)              I bet his next step would be to say a few words of praise for Bolloywood.

You need to change your PR strategy Mr. Cook. The current one is too predictable.

In fact you need to keep your focus firmly on innovation and quality of products rather than moving away to PR/Publicity....
